I'm not entirely sure this is the right forum for this, but - who else is going to GenCon? And does anyone who has gone have any advice for a first-timer?

I can't wait to get my hands on the Monster Burner - the sample pages look awsome!

AFAIK - list goes like this: abzu, eruditus, me, Durgil?, Frank, Claymore and spring_violet. At this pont I'm pertty sure that I've missed someone.

Unfortunately, we didn't register for any BW games because we had not given the Wheel a try before picking events. So we jumped in the Shadowrun Tournament (6-10 Thur, Fri, Sat) which is semi-regrettable at this point.

Emil, bring water and something decent to snack on unless you want to eat pizza, hot dogs, and nachos for 4 days straight. :x

We will definitely be there. What's funny is that I wanted in to a BW game, but we hadn't started playing as a group. So, like foxandwarlock mentions, we end up in a SR tournament (which we have played in the last 3-4 years). Now the group laments that decision.

We'll see what happens, maybe SR sucks this year, BW has open spots in the late games and all is right in the world because of it. Regardless we do plan on a stop at the booth. I imagine the shadowlord in our campaign could have a few minions that haven't been mentioned before. :twisted:
