Great Wolf - Yearling possible errata?

Hi,

My 1st edition Monster Burner shows the Leads for Wild Pack - Yearling to be Captive only (page 207)

However, the example Wolf, Blood-of-Fire (page 206) as far as I can tell can only be created if Yearling leads to Outcast.

Is Blood-of-Fire a GM hack or should Yearling lead to Outcast?
