The Dark Lord of Izrador threatens the North. The great fort-town of Steel Hill has fallen - and still the neighboring lands do not believe He has come again.

The survivors of Steel Hill, some fifty men and women, ride for lands that would hear their words and answer their call.

They have been named The Wordbringers.

We are a small group (3 people, 2 players + GM) who meets on Sundays every week for 4-8 hours. We are based in Chicago (yes, that's the city proper) and are looking for a mature, story-based player.

If you would like to get an idea of the world and campaign:

You might try posting in the Forge Connections forum, too:

I know there are a number of Chicagoans over there.

In the city proper - which is what? A two hour round trip from the big WAU?

Hey,

It ain't that bad. I used to game with some guys on Sunday in a DnD game at Kimbal and Wisner. That took maybe 45 minutes. I've found that I'm pretty much 45 minutes away from everywhere if they are near an expressway. I got sick of tatical play and half hour long discussions on who is taking first watch and what the marching order is. Are you near any of the expressways?

Droz,

Hell man, I got to run that one. I need to get my play fix on.

And my game isn't little... only unloved by the masses...

Heh, not that unloved...considering our GM owns a copy of CoS.

Small world.

Hey, I'm currently living in Chicago (right around the UIC campus) and would be quite interested in playing, as I just moved up here and haven't been able to find a group yet. Still have room?
