What Color is the Adventure Burner?

Well, given all the hooplah over the Magic Burner, I can see why Dro was so adamant this book did not exist! But now that Luke has admitted it, I think it is time for the hooplah to begin again!

I don't know how to start a poll,* so instead, this thread is for anyone who wants to make a wager on what color the Adventure Burner is going to be. Don't threadjack! This is not about content - just the color of the cover!

As for me, I've got twenty bucks on a nice dark green - not as much blue as a normal forest green, but darker than a noble forest green. Maybe a "green dragon" green. Yeah.

What color are you putting your money on?

(BWHQ personnel are not restricted from placing bets)

(*oh, look, it's right there at the bottom... nah, nvmd...)

yellow. perhaps saffron, to evoke the feelings of foreign lands encountered during the epic, continent-spanning adventures to be found within.

Sorry to be off-topic, but... link?

It was in an interview on Canon Puncture (http://www.canonpuncture.com/).

So, can I be the first to be yelled at for asking when it'll be released? Has anyone already asked? Oops, sorry, this thread is just about the color. I'm thinking maybe a British racing green.

I wonder if there will be any more setting supplements like TBAF in the meantime.

Grey and Furry, the cover is stitched together from the pelts of rats captured and skinned by a mad monk who sealed himself in the dank basement of BWHQ.

It will be very expensive.

Dude, I got yelled at for asking if the book really existed! I think Luke's answer on Canon Puncture is gonna have to do until he's actually done.

And, seriously, people - grey? The Monster Burner's grey!

WHAT?!? Expensive? Given what Luke is paying now in stitched-rat-pelt disposal fees, he should be paying us to take them off his hands.

That mad monk? He is not fucking around. When he sets out to capture and skin rats, he don't stop.

Green. For the foliage of the countryside, for slime of the dungeon, for life. Exact pantone not sure. The Magic Burner threw the colour palette in a weird direction. Maybe something like CMYK 68,1,75,10.

Though the bone white or bisque could fit in with the set, that seems a little ... subdued.

Thanks for referring to the podcast. Now I actually know what I was posting about back on page 1.

Obvious choices include a dark or blood red, or a yellow or tan. I concur that the palette was sort of thrown askew, with MaBu (that blue is too light, compared to the others). Perhaps that makes a sand/tan color more likely... but that causes issues with either the white titling or the "dodged" transparency titling.

OK... my vote is a deep red: ███████

Many Bothans died to bring you this information (the cover art for the AdvBu). Linked below so people won't be spoiled if they don't want to be.

Storn, I take back all the nice things I've said about your art over the years. Clearly, Stormsweeper wins BWHQ Head Artist position.
To him go the honors, and floggings.

Bright Red or bone white it would fit in well with MAGBU and I'm hoping Luke is in a very patriotic mood for the cover color on ADBU and whatever comes next! :)

Nope, that's just his long, flowing hair. If you notice, the elf isn't wearing shoes... hmmmm...

You already painted your corebook green? Damn, that's good - I should do that!

Hi

Brilliant concept:
Does that dragon have Xs for eyes, meaning it's an Undead Grey Dragon, Level 45 squared (CR 5 billion)?

That's some tough encounter!
