Bastard-Mercenary

ok, this is the second character that will most likely go with the unamed soldier here (http://burningwheel.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=674).
Together we will kick ass.

Background story(not very worked out yet):
Levar was born as the bastard son of a noble. The entire family rejected him, for he was the sign of his father's only mistake in life.
However, his father saw it as his duty to care for his son, he(the father) saw this as the only way to free himself of guilt(adultery, mind you).

Levar was enabled to become a page, he learned hard, for he knew hs father had risked much to give him this opportunity. Levar trained especially hard on his riding, for he was amazed at the power and grace of horses.

But then, the father died(i should really maken up a name for thsi guy) and the evil stepmother did what she had been waiting for for years. She condemned Levar, declared him unnooble(There must be a better way to say that) and threw him out.

Somehow(i do not want to describe that) Levar ended up with the mercenaries. After being a foot soldier for 3 years his skills with sword and horse brought him into the cavalry.

With resources i have a question,
becuase my char has a lot of weapons(sword, lance, javelins) and a shield, i spend 10 rps for normal quality. Is that all right that way?
Or am i actually allowed to get that stuff for 5 rps?

Dude, BW doesn't care how many throwing axes or javelins or spears or swords you take. Take want you need/want to round out your character. GM gets final approval. Judd says it's ok, then it's ok.

well, the question was kind of directed to paka.
And i am just used to GMs that say "no you can NOT"
However, paka has never done that to me so far, but i am just always worrying aboyut shit.
