Some revisions to the Dwarven Gear list that are likely going to see the light of day in the CB Revision. (Since Kublai's going to be playtesting them, I thought I'd post 'em.)

Dwarven Arms was 15 RPs, will be 20 RPs
Any weapon purchased as Dwarven Arms is considered Superior Quality and grants the wielder a +1D balance die to his weapon skill.

Dwarven Arbalest 20 RPs
A special Dwarven make of the traditional crossbow, it can fire rocks or bolts. It counts as a crossbow, but only requires 10 actions to load. Also adds +1D balance die.

Rocks IMS: I B3, M B6, S B9 VA --. Half range of standard crossbow.
Or it can fire bolts as per a standard crossbow.

Also, I think I'm going to increase crossbow VA to 2, so try that out.

Dwarf-made Armor (Plated Leather, Chainmail or Plated Mail)
All armor made by a Dwarven smith may ignore one "1" once. Just a little something to reflect its sturdy make.

Forge Mask was 30, now 35 RPs
Counts as a gray-shade Plated Chain (5D) helmet. Also can cause an opponent to make a Steel test at the time of the wearer's choosing. This fear effect only works once per target.

Also, combined with the Dwarven Shield, it makes the bearer completely resistant to heat and flame.

Dwarven Shield 15 rps
This magnificent device is completely resistant to heat and flame -- it cannot be damaged by fire, nor can the arm that it protects (unless you do something stupid like reach into the flame. it's not a glove).

Counts as a 3D gray shade shield of superior quality.

Dwarven Mail 75 RPs in the book. I'm thinking 100 RPs now. Read the description!
This most precious of all armors covers the bearer in fine and supple chainmail. No clumsy weight penalties except for Gauntlets and Chainmail Leggings. Dwarven Mail grants the user gray shade chainmail from head, to hand to boot (but not in the face). It is, of course, superior quality.

Tools
Don't forget that all of the Dwarven Tools grant a +1D equipment die to the applicable skill.

The might and quality of the Dwarven Smiths shall never be doubted!

edited because I was a bit loopy last night.

Holy crap! My next character is so going to be a Dwarf!! I loved 'em in D&D and haven't gotten to play them in BW yet. And among other things I just can't resist all that awesome gear!!

::rubs his mitts together veritably drooling over all the shiny metal::

Can this "1" be fixed by a Dwarven blacksmith at let's say Ob 2.

ie. you ignore one "1" once, can you get that dink fixed so you can get that one "1" back

god that sounds retarded

i wasn't planning on it. I figured it would be a one shot bennie. But I suppose something could be worked in where a real Artificer could restore that quality to a piece of armor if he refurbished it.

don't have my books with me tonight, so I don't have a list of Dwarf skills in front of me.
