On page 146 of the Monster Burner (second printing), it says that Great Spiders may not take the Bodhisattva Trait. My interest piqued, I looked through the Monster Burner and the Character Burner, not finding it listed in either index. Is Bodhisattva simply a Character Trait, or is it documented someplace else?

Wow. Now that's some errata! There is no Bodhisattva trait. Move along! Nothing to see here.

Ah yes, Character Burner Classic, page 170. Meanwhile I was imagining how somethign like the Secret of the Bodhisavatta (http://tsoy.crngames.com/Crunchy_Bits#Secrets) would function in Burning Wheel terms.

Also, I'm totally calling out Pete for feigning ignorance when we wanted to face an Infernal Bodhisattva in our samurai game.

That's exactly what my first thought was!

So, like i can have G10 Faith... so long as i don't use it? ;)
