I mentioned this before (http://www.burningwheel.org/forum/showthread.php?t=6188), but I wasn't forceful enough with my main point, and we got distracted with specifics.
The burningwheel.org site really needs product pages that describe the products!
It's a big hole in the marketing. Right now, as when the Magic Burner launched, there's a fantastic teaser/intro screen for mouse guard and then ... nothing.
By coincidence, I dropped off the forums shortly before preorders began for either, and returned once the dust had settled, so my experience was roughly that of newcomers to the site - curious about the product but not knowing their release status or much else about it.
The press kit doesn't contain any Mouse Guard info, the wiki has no real mouse guard info
The link to Archaia Studios' site is no good, as it takes you to a page with no Mouse Guard info. Same thing if you follow the Media Kit, or Wiki links. The Forum, too, has no information on how to get started (even in the Getting Started with Mouse Guard topic).
I bet this makes adoption by gaming groups tougher than it needs to be. The drooling identifies-as-narrativist wannabe BW GM whose quiver is already a-bursting with five unplayed indie games may click straight through to indie press revolution, but the rest of the group would be well served by an explanation of what the game is and why they must have it tool!
Even something simple would be better than nothing - something to click on that says 'Mouse Guard', 'Burning Wheel' or 'Burning Empires' and has a picture of the book(s) and a bit of info.
