On the far right of the revised scripting sheet, there is a place that indicates what Attribute or Skill to test in order to accomplish each maneuver. Where both an Attribute and Skill are present (like Lock: Br, Po) are they considered interchangable? Or is the Attribute at a Double Obstance - i.e. Beginner's Luck?

You get to choose which you would like to use.
Or is the Attribute at a Double Obstance - i.e. Beginner's Luck?
I know, by all rights, the stats should be hit with a x2 Ob penalty, but I have never ever been able to enforce that as a GM. Combat is tough enough, why make it harder?
Also, making combat a safe haven for raw athleticism seems cool to me. If you're natural speed and strength don't help you here, then where!?
So, as Thor said, you choose your most favorable defense. No x2 Ob pen.
