I have a question - is it kosher to add tags to other peoples threads?
I've been reading the Burning Thac0 threads, and not all are tagged as such. I'd be happy to tag em as I find em.
If this is kosher, I also had a question about how far the tags can be stretched. It would be cool to have some of the other relevant threads such as the thread that started it all http://burningwheel.org/forum/showthread.php?t=2642 tagged.

You are welcome to add tags as you see fit!
Personally, I've only been adding the Burning THAC0 tag to threads that concern our Monday night Burning THAC0 game.

I do like that most of the threads tagged Burning Thac0 are relevant to the Monday night game, but it would also be nice to see some of the supporting threads so tagged (and the thread I linked in the first post I had to creatively search for since the link had changed from when it was linked in the first Burning Thac0 thread).
I will judiciously add a few tags.
Thanks

Thread tags are getting out of control. They need to be codified somewhere.
I think we should deputize all of the local fishermen and get them out on the water hunting.

I am pretty sure I heard someone say something about metadata and controlled vocabularies...

Woo hoo, Burning Thesaurus!
If you all want to start a categorical tagging system, you have my blessing. Start a thread and I'll sticky it.
