The only one I ever played was Shadowbane. It had such a cool backstory and race/class selections and my expectation level was way too high. So my sense of role-playing crashed regularly - almost as regularly as their crappy servers when you had more then four people on a screen. :D

I answered Diablo 2, although I've only ever played that with friends where we created our own game on the server. For the most part though, MMORPGs don't really appeal to me.

same here kublai, that game is what might tempt me into addiction.

Diablo 2 isn't actually a MMORPG, even though most people play it online.
It's an RPG with a great multiplayer feature.

I ended up in the WoW stress test beta. I have off-color names for Everquest, Dark Ages, everything. So I went in as a hard sell. I've watched people play EQ, etc, and it looked incredibly boring, and their descriptions only reinforced my opinions.

All that said, World of Warcraft is pretty awesome. When the ten days was over, it was a depressing event to say goodbye to my troll hunter, poured a 40 on the curb, etc etc. So while I'm pretty sure that WoW is the only MMO I'll ever play, I will play the very hell out of it. My sister, whose husband got heavily addicted to both EverQuest and Dark Ages, was even more against these games than me. But now she wants to play WoW. It was just that much fun.

Only if it's a pure fire group. You have to have fire powers of some sort. :twisted:

I typically play a controller of some sort. I play on the server infinity.
My Character at the moment is a Illusion Controller, but I am thinking of playing a scrapper.

In all seriousness, three of us are on virtue. We got a vigilante style SG going. We RP, OOC talk , power level, casual play, sit around and do nothing, run around and do lots.

Overall just goof around. If you want to hang out let us know, we're all around 12-14 level right now. Virtue Server. Vigilante Inc. Super Group. Kid Diamondback, Hemlock Shade and Electronicas.

Okay, I don't know about goof around; since we always are doing something. We banged out 6 or 8 missions last night; sometimes we only get to 3. But I don't remember a time when we just stood around and RP'd; we get enough of that on Sundays :twisted:

We are casual in the way we play; we built characters we wanted to play versus "optimal" builds.
