scenario:
two faithful characters, same one true god (christian based). PC is a pilgrim chaplain-type (bought faith w/ 5 trait points) infamous among the religious orders. NPC is an established fighter priest for the religious order, introduced as the result of a failed circles test.
they start asking God to help them against the other priest. both succeed in their prayers, 'hindrance vs. hindrance.' it felt kind of weird. 'i hinder him,' no, 'i hinder both of you.'
we debated at the table, whether the NPC could pray for a minor miracle to simple nullify the other's prayer, or whether we should do a vs. faith test, etc. we decided that a succesful prayer is sacrosanct and thus both could go off, but neither could be nullified.
anyone else have experience with similar situations or advice on how to handle further such conflicts as they will surely come up?
