So, um, when can those of us who don't live in NYC get to see these wonderful rules? I keep hearing you guys raving about them in play posts, and it's making me quite jealous.

Hey man,

The Duel of Wits will be released with the Burning Wheel Revision. It hopefully won't be too long. But you don't have to wait for it, because I believe the Duel of Wits chapter is one of the 'sample chapters' that Luke plans to post to this very Web site in January (barring any problems). Keep your eyes peeled!

I'm trying to say that proximity to BWHQ gives some people access to rules and info that haven't been published, and that I'm very jealous over here on the West Coast.
