anyway, can we either start a new thread bitching about what a shitty game designer I am or get back on topic in this one

So I figured I'd oblige him.

Dude where is my pre-order. Ack, the wait is too long. Give me my revised . . . .

Ehh sorry for the Freudian slip there.
All in favour for burning the new edition and its maker (so he can be remembered as the shinging not human he is, a martyr for the preservastion of what he called::shudder:: BW Classic.) answer the poll.

Oh, while we are already in controversial subjects:

Dude the Nibelung is a german retelling of a Norse Saga Might be. Love to see a reference so I could check it out. Have only explored the "classical" Norse mythology, didn't see that.
No flame (or race) war intended.

And Luke it was JC who pointed out the Norse dwarf link. I just am one.

Don't fuck with the Revision. It RAWKS!!!

Anyway, I believe the Ring of the Nibelung is based on four sources, all Norse/Icelandic.

The primary source is the Volsungsaga, which makes up the core of the opera.

It is also based on stuff from the Poetic Edda, the Prose Edda, and the Nornagestsaga.

Gah, sputter , stumble. Deep breath.

You are making it hard for me to keep the Freudian (or Fenrisian as we Norse like to say) slips in.

Will probably have first test of the Duel of Wits this coming Saturday, it rocks. I have been converted on the armour revision.

But this thread is about imortalising Luke.

No praise of the evil revision shall be spoke here.

I will castigate myself now.

Thor is indeed correct, as I was going to point out. I have read both Poem and Prose Edda (in thier english translated forms) and they are wonderful. I have also some other books of Norse Saga.
