I REALLY enjoy the art addition to the main page; it livens things a lot. Well done. Who did the illustration, and will he or she be represented in the revised books?

That's a Knower of Secrets from the Orc Chapter! Hopefully you'll be able to see the rest of the orcs shortly. I just have to finish editing the chapter tonight so Luke can post it to the site.

PETER BERGTING (http://www.bergting.com/)

Peter's done the Trolls in the Monser Burner and the Orcs in the Revised Character Burner.

You can thank Kaare for pointing me to him.

You should check out Gemini (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=44111&item=5948086576&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW) long OOP DF RPG featuring PETER BERGTING's art.

Gemini is selling for $10? I wonder whatever happened to my copy of it. I kinda liked it, though only ever played it I think twice. The balance of the art was terrific, as I recall.

10$... I bought it for 35€ a couple of months ago. At least it was a pack with the Winds of War supplement and a set of character sheets. You never know when something will appear on ebay, though.

What it hurts is that I hadn't had a chance to run it... nor BW

Seriously. I think you have to dump some of the setting, but otherwise I think it'd be a really solid marriage.

Seriously, what you should do is adapt BW to the setting. Easier and gives you much more of that Gemini feel. Bw excels at being adapted, the world rocks, Bergting rules and if you do all the work and post it here I do not have to do anything.

I first noticed Bergting when he did the art for Mutant Chronicles rpg. Loved the M.Mignolia look, bought Drakar and Demonar 6(another brilliant swedish rpg (system isn't too cool, again magnificent setting) )because of the art work.

And now BW joins the ranks of gorgeous art games. I hereby officially recant all previous grumblings about covers and such. I also officially change position.

All Hail the revision!

Oh Luke, "traitors" funny first time but . . . but then you got Bergting so I forgive you.

I could never get anyone to play Mutant Chronicles with me. :(

I did however find a nice group of guys who played Warzone/Chronopia. (a minis game Warzone being based on Mutant Chronicles and Chronopia being a fantasy version)

Warzone was cool, too bad the minis sucked compared to GW. Like the feel of the rules though.

First edition rules were totally out of this planet, abstract, non-logical creation. Second edition was bit better. Miniatures maybe weren't the prettiest thing to look at but they had one advantage over GW ones, price.

I guess I'm the odd one of the bunch. I liked the rules and I loved the minis.

)My intention when I bought Gemini was to adapt it to BW but my playing group (or what remains of it) isn't interested so I decided to save me the work.
And yes, there are some things of the setting that would be better to dump.

I played Mutant Chronicles twice but it wasn't very satisfactory. The first time the second session ended with an argument between GM and player (namely me ). The second scenario we played was to make happy the GM (he likes the game although none of the other discovered what was so wonderful about it). Guess someday I'll ask my friend to let me read the manual.

I discovered Bergting with his work in Kult.

The biggest problem I found with mutant chronicles (besides the rules I loved the setting but the game system was terrible) was the shoddy work on the binding, mine fell apart in no time.
