The monster burner is just as crucial for any good GM and any controlling player as the main two books are. Any serious BW player, anyway.

Its not about critters and cool races but for me, its what BW is all about... its the meat about the system. Not neccessary to play but you need it to understand what is going on in the background.

Funny, back in the day i really didn't pay much attention to names on books until i started meeting the people the write the books. We started a Nephilim campaign and sure enough ken wrote many of the lines best material. Boy puts his money where his mouth is.
