The Riddle of Jake

I know there are a number of Riddle of Steel fans over here, so I thought you'd be glad to know that I just got off the phone with Jake Norwood.

He contacted me out of the blue and we talked for about 45 minutes. Topics ranged from BW, TROS, and gaming projects to family, life and the army.

It was great to hear from him; apparently he's doing quite well (and ready to wade back into the life of a game designer).

Excellent person, that Jake. I hope we all hear more from him soon.

He has made a few posts back lately on the TRoSForum (http://trosforums.com/index.php?sid=f5d025d1281a9f4a0a5d22e267fe8e76) since shortly before Christmas. It really is amazing to me that with all that he's currently involved with that he can find the time to participate again, but I sure am glad that he is. :D

Funny cause just before being introduced to BW I was introduced to Riddle of Steel and thought... hmmm, I should pick that up, ah but i don't have enough cash for that and the three other games left on my must buy list.

Funny cause if I had gone through my PURGE all games phase just a month earlier I may have been calling Jake at all hours and sleeping on his little bed of interminable servatude instead of Luke's. Funny how the world works...

i think i am beginning to see how I got my forum name. :roll:
