Sorry if this has been covered else where, Just started up my first regular table top game in a while, and we had a Roden take the Garrotte skill. We searched high and low for the Throttling Training, which was mentioned in the forks. From reading other post, we've come to the assumption that it is a hold over from Classic.

Any suggestions or ideas where we could get the details on it? Is it relevant any more?

It's a joke. Sorry for the confusion.

Curse your humour Luke Crane! Curse it!

We Canadians haven't imported witty game design humour yet.

We have, but it's slow getting to the East Coast. We're hogging it all in Central and Western Canada. :D

Huh? You don't know funny until you've met a Newfie. Their sense of humour is so sharp and advanced it has yet to be confirmed that it is intentional.

Bring a case of Keith's to 10/10/10 and I will see what can be done.

. . . and clearly humour hasn't arrived wherever Dwight lives. . .

DHS didn't allow me to bring mine when I moved. :(

But... DHS should have worked in conjunction with CES to enforce paragraph 14.03 (1) of the Humour Recognition and International Licencing Act's transfer of Humour Credentials, which specifies that "notwithstanding subsection 8 (3) of this Act, all Humour Credentials not in excess of 2,400 mega-lols may be deemed transferable for equal lolage upon proof of permanent residency in Canada."

You should give someone hell over that blunder!

I'm beginning to regret my decision to crowd-source my visa paperwork via 4chan. :/

For an example of Throttling Training, check out "The Man-Eaters of Zamboula" by RE Howard.

Baal-Pteor would have gotten away with it too, if he wasn't on the loosing side of an opposed bad ass test with Conan.
