So when I tried to order the system logged me on as someone in Canada. Is this happening to anyone else?

So I logged in as myself and then the BW store doesn't recognize my country as the United States. After a few attempts it took but crashed when I tried to pay. I'll wait a little bit and try again.

It's an occasional issue of stupidity with osCommerce. It happened once before and cleared itself up after a bit. I'm in the fact-finding period of looking for a replacement since it's been causing me no end up annoyance for the last while. Log out, log in as yourself, it should work (emphasis on should).

I've tried reproducing it and I can't get it to happen to me. If you could PM me the user who you're impersonating that might help.

Clear out any burningempries.com cookies, stuff like that almost always has some basis in cookie domain issues.

Were Adbu copies for sale at Gen Con?

If they were, a friend has bought me one.

If they were not, I will buy one now.

They were, and then they were sold out. So depending on what day it was, your friend either has an adbu or doesn't!

How's that for ambiguity?

They sold out around 1ish or 2ish on Saturday, if I remember my times. I know this because I got the 2nd to last. Any more delay and I would have been borked.

And it's a lovely book. Utterly lovely. If your friend didn't get you one, be sure to tell him he's a bad friend. Make him suffer. ;)

I think that "PAY" button could do with being a bit fatter and with a different background colour, I found it a bit hard to spot.

I went to buy the book and got an error message after I was charged by PayPal but before the store actually sold me the book. The book is still in my cart and my order history says I haven't bought anything, though I was charged by PayPal. I sent a message through the Contact Us form on the Burning Store, just posting here to be extra sure I get my book.

If the "confirm" button on the last page of the order form is actually a broken link, don't click it. You'll end up like me, whining about it on the forums.
