so i'm working on a scenario for 10-10-10 resolving around warrior monks and i have some questions as i build the characters.
it is possible for a monk to have honor and shame by starting in the provincial warrior setting and taking a lead to the monastery. who do they 'serve' in this case? the abbot of the monastery? technically they leave worldly possessions and attachments behind, but there is no new trait to replace the honor/shame trait.
it is also possible for warrior monks to leave a monastery through a lead from sohei to provincial warrior setting. i assume this incurs shame. does their new lord get the honor debt, or their old abbot?
i really love the idea of monks with honor and shame, but damn, it gets complicated.
