    Enchanting Handy Knicknacks

In a campaign we're starting today, this old and powerful Dwarven civilization had access to Enchanting when using antecedents (and vessels) rendered from the Titan they had chained up in their basement. They created a bunch of wonders, great and small, from the Hand of Doom to the Ewer of Endless Water.

Only I'm having problems figuring out how they made the Ewer of Endless Water. The concept is simple: an ewer that's always full of clean, clear water. But mechanically, I'm not sure how Enchanting can fashion this without the Spell Matrix effect under "Useful Magical Device." Spell Matrix doesn't help, because the Dwarves didn't have Sorcery, just Enchanting (and then, only on Titanic materials). How could I make a pitcher of endless water (or a brazier of ever-burning fire, or...) with Enchanting, but not Spell Matrix and a Create Water-type effect?

Why does it matter? I've put in plenty of items in the Burning THAC0 campaign that are not readily reproducible using "official" systems.
    Also: ninjas.

It doesn't matter as such...yet. One of the PCs is a Dwarf, and they're delving the ruins of the old kingdom. I fully expect at some point he'll want to dabble in knowledge best left unexplored, and that's when I'd like to have something ready.

Maybe they bargained with a water spirit? Dwarves can technically summon, so it's a possibility.

It isn't an "ewer" or "pitcher", it is an ever-full bladder.
